Halloween Cars Clarksville TN

It's no surprise that cars frequently play significant roles in movies of all kinds. The following is a list of some of the most famous horror film cars. We start with the most popular horrific vehicle amongst them.

Halloween
A scene from the 1978 John Carpenter film, Halloween (1978), had everyone frequently checking their backseat for months after seeing the movie.

As Annie, a youthful secondary school student, gets in the driver's seat of her car, she notices that all her car windows are red hot! In the backseat is, of course, the murderous Micheal Myers. Having produced one of the most terrifying moments in possibly one of the scariest movies of all time, Halloween relied heavily on car scenes to evoke as much horror as possible throughout the film.

Rubber
The 2010 comedic horror film, Rubber presented viewers with a scenario where a bloodthirsty wayward car tire sets its sights on an unsuspecting woman in the California desert. Before long, the tire is on a homicide binge, causing chaos as he utilizes his clairvoyant forces for evil purposes. This film finally answers the age-old question: which is stronger, humankind or a possessed tire?

Duel
The 1971 film, Duel was the first feature film made by famed director Steven Spielberg. The film recounts the story of a traveling sales rep who ends up tormented by the concealed driver of a colossal, rusty tractor-trailer.

With no real explanation for the circumstances, viewers are thrown directly into the horror essentially from the jump. It appeared to pick the helpless sales rep aimlessly and remain determined to eliminate him as he attempts to make his way back home. Spielberg would later utilize similar stunts in Jaws (1975).

Joyride
The 2001 film, Joyride, adopted Duel's layout and upgraded it for today's generation. When a couple of siblings pull a trick on a lonely transporter called Rusty Nail, they believe they’re just getting away with a bit of innocent fun. However, soon the psychopathic large vehicle is chasing them down dangerously, hell-bent on getting rid of all who have wronged him.

Final Destination 2

The 2001 film, Final Destination 2 continued to build off of the momentum gained in the first film. All the Final Destination movies are incredible at bringing the horror to life, and the initial car collision in Final Destination 2 is one of the most terrorizing scenes in existence.
