2021 Mazda CX-30 Vs 2021 Subaru Crosstrek
There’s no doubt that exterior styling is one of the main strengths of the Mazda CX-30, where it ranks well above the Subaru Crosstrek; however, on the exterior of the 2021 Crosstrek, elements of robustness can be seen that correspond to the standard AWD (All-Wheel-Drive) available. - Engine Options– Both vehicles are available with two engine options: the 2021 Mazda CX-30 comes with a 2.5-liter I4 that develops 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque; the second powertrain here is a 2.5-liter turbo with 250 hp and 320 lbs.-ft, the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek has a base 2.0-liter engine with 152 horsepower and 145 lbs.-ft of torque, it’s mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The second option for the Crosstrek is a 2.5-liter turbo mill with 182 hp and 176 lbs.-ft. A manual 6-speed gearbox is available as an option.
- Safety– Several safety features are available to make the CX-30 a very safe vehicle. In comparison, while Subaru does offer the EyeSight package, these won’t be available without the models with CVTs. The drive power management system is also not available for all models.
